Sculptra® Aesthetic provides new youth-restoring option for women and men.
The newest and longest-lasting product for facial rejuvenation is Sculptra® Aesthetic. Designed to replace collagen and facial volume that’s lost due to aging, Sculptra® Aesthetic provides a more youthful appearance for up to two years.

Sculptra® Aesthetic can be thought of as a volumizer. As we age, we tend to lose volume in the face, which creates lines, wrinkles and can even change the contour of your face. Restoring that lost volume is what Sculptra® Aesthetic is all about.
In the past, the best way to add volume back to the face was through fat injections. Fat injections are actually a two step procedure – a plastic surgeon first does liposuction to harvest a patient’s own fat, and to then would inject the extracted fat into the face.
Liposuction, while an overall safe procedure when done properly and by a board certified surgeon, is nevertheless a surgical procedure. That means it must be done in a proper medical facility, often with anesthesia of some sort.
Sculptra® Aesthetic, on the other hand, can be done on an outpatient basis, which is both safer and less expensive, with few side effects.
Sculptra® Aesthetic is injected into the deep dermis in a series of treatments by a Sculptra-trained physician. It works over time. So it is important to go to all of the recommended treatment sessions - typically three or four treatments over several months. Each session builds upon the previous session to provide subtle, natural results.
Occasionally, touch ups are required once a year depending on the desired look or the severity of the cosmetic issue being addressed.
Side effects are usually minor and may include itching, redness, or bruising at the injection site. These effects almost always disappear quickly without intervention.
A small subset of people should not use Sculptra® Aesthetic. This includes anyone with an allergy to any of the product’s ingredients, or those whose bodies produce extreme scarring (keloid formation or hypertrophic scarring).
SculptraAesthetic also should not be injected when a person is battling an active skin infection or inflammation near the treatment area.
